I began my career in the mortgage industry in 2020, working as a Loan Officer Assistant alongside my dad and best friend, Edgar Villamil. He taught me the business through patience, integrity, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping families achieve homeownership. When he passed away from cancer, I had the opportunity to step into the role of Loan Officer and continue the legacy he built--serving people with honesty, transparency, and heart. Before entering the mortgage world, I studied Nursing and earned my BSN from USC Upstate, later working in the operating room. That background shaped the way I approach lending today: with precision, clear communication, calm under pressure, and a deep sense of responsibility for the people who trust me with one of the biggest decisions of their lives. As a first-generation Colombian-American, I know what the American Dream means--and I understand how intimidating the mortgage process can feel. I'm also bilingual, which allows me to serve Spanish-speaking clients with the cultural understanding and trust they deserve.
