About William Bassett

Bill is a NYS Licensed Broker with Milestone Properties, he is a full time agent. In both 2019 & 2020 he was 1 of only 5 finalists (out of over 400 agents) for the Utica OD Best of the Best category of Best Real Estate Agent! He is currently the Vice President of the local YPN (Young Professionals Network). Prior to real estate Bill worked as the General Manager of a successful movie theater, where he has built years of experience in customer service, management, finances, and several other skills that are essential in the real estate industry. His main goal is customer satisfaction and is determined to find his buyers their perfect home, and finding the perfect buyers for his home listings. Bill was born and raised right here in the Mohawk Valley. Bill is a member of the local Board of Realtors, where he is on the Strategic Planning Committee. Bill can show, and sell any home in the area regardless of it's listing office. This gives clients the opportunity to solely work with just 1 Realtor, which gives you a personal experience in your quest to find the perfect home. After many successful years at the areas top brokerage, Bill formed FLASH Realty Partners. Later Bill jumped at the opportunity to merge his company with One Realty Partners forming a true power house in the local real estate community. After contributing to the large growth, Bill decided it was time to move onto even more opportunities, which brought him to Howard Hanna. While Howard Hanna was a great office, I couldn't fight the desire to help build another local brokerage, which is what bought me to Milestone Properties the 1st local %100 cloud/virtiual brokerage office.

Billy Bassett was extremely helpful and patient with myself and my family in searching for the perfect home. We had a few requirements and finally, after years of searching, found what we needed to accommodate. Billy was able to schedule showings day and evenings, and we also had 2nd and 3rd showings since my family's schedules varied. Billy was always calm and courteous with us and never pressured us. Bill was a huge help during me and my boyfriends first home buying experience. Us not knowing much about the ins and outs of buying a home, Bill was there to answer questions and give us the run down of what to expect. He always made time to show us homes even if it was short notice (we found our home online and viewed it the same day!). Our process with the bank turned from smooth sailing to very bumpy, but we always could count on Bill to get us answers and updates as soon as he could. We could tell he was just as concerned with our process as we were and made us feel comfortable knowing he truly cared and was trying just as hard as us to ensure reasonable closing dates and costs. He was very active with us as his clients by checking in, answering questions, and fulfilling his duty as a realtor. We were very impressed and would recommend Bill to anyone looking to purchase a home.

He responded very quickly from the first time we contacted him till we closed. He was very friendly and patient with us. We asked him to show us the house two times and spent a decent amount of time checking everything. During this time he never rushed us or made us feel as we were wasting his time as others had done. The second showing we decided to purchase the property. He was always on top of everything and we were always able to get a hold of him no matter what time it was. He helped us find a good lawyer. When we hit a road block with the selling bank many times he would go above and beyond to make sure times got back on tract. I couldn't recommend him more. Out of all the agents we tried, he was the best. Picking him was the best choice we made.
