Our daughter, who lives in Gurley and is knowledgeable about the aEURoeins and outsaEUR? of real estate, steered us to Whitney in early July. She said Whitney seemed to have her finger on the pulse of the real estate market in Huntsville and was incredibly knowledgeable. My two past lifetime experiences with realtors left me feeling disrespected where we would start out at the bottom of the barrel which lead me to think they were first trying to unload hard to sell properties on us. In fact, in that first experience, when we pulled up in front of the first house I would not get out of the car and told the realtor to return to the office because we were finished. Whitney was our third experience and the first time that actually resulted in our purchasing a home through a realtor. She was very perceptive in assessing exactly what we were looking for and scheduled us to view seven houses in one day. She seemed to have an exceptional talent (or 6th sense) for directing us toward what would work for us both aesthetically and financially. After viewing all seven, we had narrowed it down to two houses which she patiently took us back to view a second time. She listens and responds without trying to influence our decision one way or the other. We found exactly what we were looking for in the best subdivision we have ever lived in. Once our decision was made that very day, she was also very helpful in giving advice when asked and directing us toward all aspects on the business side to easily close the transaction a few weeks later. Everything went smoothly and without stress. Not only did we find a beautiful home but also an exceptional realtor and friend.
