About Vesta Koch
I started my Real Estate career in 2016 planning to work part-time and help my friends and family with their real estate needs. Little did I know, the need for a GREAT agent was high and I quickly turned into a Full Time agent. After a short 9 months in the business I was hired to train a team of agents in Rochester, MI. From there I continued to sell and began helping one of Michigan's largest real estate teams grow from 20 to 120 agents. It was an amazing experience that I wouldn't trade for anything. In addition to training I was able to learn more about the business than agents who have been in it for 30-40 years. I love teaching agents the business and how to provide great service, but the demand on my time got to great so I am only selling Full-Time now and spending time with my significant other and my two children. Having time for my family while being able to do what I love (selling real estate) is what fulfills me. Same as a buyer! Plus, make sure the agent you choose isn’t a “yes” person. You need someone who will be honest with you about what it will take to get your home sold in a timely manner and for the best price.
Dig deep on services. Other than a sign and putting your listing in the MLS, what else are they doing?
First-time home buyers, down-sizers, relocation, investors, divorce, probate, trust, and everything in between.
My snowbirds… the market just started changing and they struggled emotionally through the process. They were selling their family home, he had health issues, and she just needed something to go right.
I worked hard every day communicating with agents to get them a great offer. I did just that, but it was contingent and they were afraid to trust the process.
So I asked them if they trusted ME, not the buyers, not the other agent. ME.
They said they did and after a tough 4 weeks the buyer of their home finally got their home in FL under contract and we closed here on their Michigan home a few weeks later.
It was emotional, it took hours of communicating with the buyers agent here and the agent in FL, it took a lot of in-person conversations and hand-holding, but we did it and it was one of my proudest moments.
There is no better feeling than another person trusting you to walk them through this process while they transition into another chapter.
I was relocated multiple times in just a few short years and my experiences were horrific. I knew it could be done better and that the Michigan area needed someone willing to do it better.
6 months after my move here I got my license and have done just what I set out to do… provide the best experience for my clients. The experience I wish I had.
