Don’t get emotionally attached to a home if your offer is accepted. There are lots of variables and things that still have to be negotiated. If the sellers and buyers don’t agree on an issue, the deal could bust. We’ll do everything we can to make deals work, but sometimes deals don’t go through. This kind of thinking will help you to stay calm and not feel as angry if thing s go south within a transaction.
Be willing to listen to the evaluation you get from your Realtor. They are trying to help you sell! Of course they want to get paid too but they also know that if you over price a house, even by a little, it can take longer to sell. Ultimately, the Realtor should be working to bring you a market value that is honest and reasonable for that market. Trust their advice!
