The first step in the home buying process would be to speak with a knowledgeable realtor about the process to get a clear understanding of the road ahead. The next most important step in the process is to speak with a knowledgeable and LOCAL lender. Your realtor should have great relationships with several lenders and can refer you to them.

Before you try to sell it is very important to get a full understanding of your home's position in the local market. That means you need to have a professional Realtor come out and look at your property so they can create a comparable market analysis and show you all the data to help establish a plan for success. Your realtor should give you pointers on best practices as they walk through your home such as; depersonalization, cleanliness, minor repairs to address, focus on curb appeal and so on.

I have personally worked with many types of clients from all walks of life. I have helped many buyers and sellers to achieve their goals. I am a very open minded and nondiscriminatory person who loves to help others.

I have had many transactions which I greatly enjoyed. I am so grateful to be able to meet so many wonderful people in so many different situations. I would say my most fond transaction is helping an elderly gentleman sell his long time home so that he could be free of a mortgage and the burden of maintaining the large yard. He was such a kind man but had many health issues and I was able to help him position himself to enjoy the rest of his life with family.

I have always had an interest in real estate and a great friend of mine finally talked me into making a career change and trying something new. I have loved it ever since! Nothing beats the look on a first time home buyer's face at that closing table when they get those keys!

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in finance and general management from Tennessee Wesleyan College in 2012. In my previous career, I spent many years as a business planning specialist for a global company and that experience gave me great negotiating skills. I have also taken continuing education classes yearly to keep my knowledge and understanding up to date. I am also a National Association of Realtors certified Real Estate Negotiation Expert and received the (RENE) designation for that.
