I graduated from Clinton High School, Clinton, Iowa. I attended and was part of the men's swim team at St. Ambrose University before transferring my Sophomore year to the University of Iowa. I have a Business Degree from the University of Iowa. I have served with the Iowa National Guard since 2017. I served one deployment overseas in 2021. I currently reside in Davenport, Iowa.
