"Realtor of the Year" for the Columbia Board of Realtors highlighted the years of dedication to my clients and the real estate industry as a whole. I'm serious about my business but want my clients to have fun at the same time, because that's what I expected from my Realtors the 8 times we relocated with my husbands job. People and real estate are my passion no matter the size of the transaction. It's not just finding a house for someone, it's finding a HOME and their place in our community. For most people, buying and selling a home is the largest investment they will ever make. That's a responsibility that shouldn't be taken lightly and I don't. Working with a team assures attention and follow through every step of the way. I believe in giving back, so I'm involved in the community. I believe in family, so I always make time for mine whether here in Columbia, or far away. I believe in accountability so I work with a team and always have the best interests of my clients at heart. Growing up in San Antonio, Texas, my dad one of 7, my mom one of 3 kids, we were always surrounded by aunts, uncles, cousins and all our friends. Involved in our church, schools and community I learned working with people is a joy I wanted to experience every day. Starting as a voice major at Baylor University, I ultimately graduated with a double degree in Marketing and English. But I still sing around the house, car, office and church, or at the drop of a hat just because it's fun. Loved raising my kids, think my husband is terrific even after 36+ years. I work with my clients but make wonderful friends along the way which is one of the terrific things about real estate. LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH YOU AND SHARING THE JOY!

FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Work with an agent who LISTENS and not only answers the questions you ask, but shares market knowledge every step of the way, answering the questions you didn't know you should be asking.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Experience, deep knowledge of YOUR segment of the market and cutting edge marketing skills are worth their weight in gold. Interview your agent, or agents, to make sure they can live up to your expectations.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
Buyers, sellers, investors, lots of people relocating. We're proud that our team has a very high ratio of repeat clients and lots of referrals both locally from the Universities & Hospitals, individuals & other agents across the nation.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
We had a $600,000 country property that was wonderful, but not in a greatly desired location. Our client had lost her husband, they had overbuilt for the area, but we got it sold when 2 other agents had failed. It took a great team effort but we have a very happy client and made a life long friend.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
We relocated 8 times with my husbands career - buying and selling in 5 different states - investing in rental property. I worked in advertising, television & radio, owned my own advertising agency in Ohio & Louisiana plus CBS network television in Dallas & was account executive for national brands. Selling you really want someone who understands how to market your property. Buying and relocating knowing you have to buy right to sell right later on..
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Baylor University - Marketing, CBS-TV in Dallas, Advertising, CRS - Certified Residential Specialist, only 6% of agents have that designation, ePRO (internet professional), ABR - Accredited Buyers Representative, SRES - Senior Real Estate Specialist. As a CNHS - Certified New Home Specialist, and graduating from the Career Center in construction (for additional real estate specific training), I'm eminently qualified to work with builders and new home construction.

We did work with Trisha on purchasing a house for our family of 5. It was our first purchase of a house, and we had zero expertise and knowledge in this area. Trisha educated us very well. She is an excellent negotiator. Also, she perfectly knows the local market. She absolutely responsive, and each our call was returned. She worked with us even after her regular hours. And above all - Trisha has perfect communication skills! Overall, it was our pleasure to work with Trisha. We strongly recommend Trisha Lee if you need to buy a house.

Trisha sold our home at the right price in two weeks. She is expert at both the business details and the psychological factors that make a home ready to sell. She is detail oriented, can arrange for a wide variety of services related to home repairs and preparation for sale at reasonable rates, and makes the transaction hassle-free. She works hard to make her listings visible in the market and her marketing materials are outstanding. In sum: any broker can list a home, Trisha can sell it!

Trisha is amazing. She knows what to do and how to do it. She advised us on how to ready our house for the market and then made it happen every step of the way: clean-up, fix-up, and staging. We needed to relocate before the house was ready to sell, and she took care of the everything in our absence. We feel very fortunate to have Trisha as our agent.

Trisha is the most proficient realtor we have ever worked with. She accepted our challenge of selling our "substantially out of style" home at a price in keeping with the upscale neighborhood. She employed a well-developed marketing plan which leveraged her extensive relationships, skills of the trade, and an "accentuate the positives" approach which brought us a motivated buyer and resulted in a quick close and at a very fair price. She's very smart, witty, fun to work with, tactfully assertive (we needed that), and very helpful with the relocation process---all meaning a true professional at the top of her game.---tw
