About Treye Bird

Selling or purchasing a home can be a very stressful and confusing process. As a Ranger qualified, army helicopter pilot for 22 years, my military career caused me to relocate on at least a dozen occasions, purchasing and selling countless homes throughout the country. Although it was typically temporary, nothing was more important to me than finding the right home in the right location for my family. The frustration and insecurity I regularly faced when working with the real estate agents and others in the housing market over these years has taught me how NOT to conduct my business! Upon my military retirement, I decided to become a General Contractor, built my dream home, eventually became a licensed Realtor, and now am the Broker-in-Charge of Lake Life Realty & Development. I realized my goal in being able to share my knowledge and expertise with all sides involved-helping people buy, sell, build and invest with confidence. My wife and I ran into Luke by chance when looking at a house on Zillow. He first struck me as a very honest and friendly person, so even though we did not get that first house, we kept him as our realtor to find our new home. It was a bit of a journey looking at multiple homes, but Luke supported what we were looking for and helped guide us through the process, which was a breeze with him as our agent. We just closed on our first house today and couldnt be happier! Luke was very responsive anytime we had a question and spent a lot of time on the phone with us walking us through the buying process and helped us negotiate better terms with the lender. We are so thankful for having Treye to help sell our home. The house was being rented through mid-summer but we knew the peak season was the best time to get the house on the market. Treye went above and beyond accommodating the renters schedule and fitting in showings. We barely had to do a thing he made it so easy. He was truly a delight to work with and knows so many people in the area. Having such a good network made a difference in the end with being able to secure a contract before the peak season ended.
