My husband and I first met Tonja Taskey a little over two years ago. We lived in California and were researching the idea of retiring in Arizona in a couple of years. Where did we want to go? We didnt know. I found Tonjas ad on Zillow and I called and left her a message. I was upfront with her about not being ready to buy now but a couple of years later. We told her what we were looking for in our forever home and she sent us listing. A month later we visited the Scottsdale area and she showed us several homes in several areas around Scottsdale so we could get an idea of what was in our price range and what the neighborhoods were like.She continued sending us homes in our price range for the next year or so. She even referred an Agent in Tucson when we wanted to explore that area. She never gave up on us and we didnt give up on her either. Most agents would have written us off when we told them we were two years out for buying and moving. Working with her and her Partner Greg was like hanging out with friends. They were both easy to work with and communicate with and she understood our needs. She never pushed us in one direction or another or offered her opinion unless asked. We had one big hiccup as some real estate transactions can have. The buyer for our home in California backed out two weeks before we were to close on our home in AZ. Tonja did her magic talking to the sellers agent getting our contract extended another 45 days. We couldnt be happier with her and our beautiful home. Sandy and Paul Dal Santo

Tonja was the perfect partner for our 3 years search for a home in Cave Creek.We wanted to return to Arizona from California and began looking quite early. Tonja was gracious and understanding of our long timeline, and kept up with our changing notions of what we wanted. She is very knowledgeable about many areas of the North Valley, and her expertise helped us quickly focus on the correct area.Each time we came to town, she was prepared to take us to homes we'd located on Zillow, as well as others she had sourced. As a plus, her husband Greg came along with us, and shared his knowledge of construction and other physical issues that came up. It was a bit like having your own home inspector with you each time you toured a home. They make a tremendous team.Communicating with Tonja was simple, even though we were in another State. She usually answers texts and emails within minutes.Tonja found the home we ultimately bought. She called one day and said "I've found it." And she was quite right. The transaction closed swiftly, even though with the added complication of a Canadian seller.If I were buying or selling in the area again, Tonja is the only agent I would consider.
