About Tom Greene

Hi, I'm Tom Greene. My journey to becoming a real estate agent in McCormick, SC and the Lake Thurmond / Clarks Hill Lake area started farther north in Eastern Pennsylvania, where I met my wife, Karen, at Kutztown University back in 1983. After graduation, we headed south to Georgia and quickly fell in love with the friendly people, beautiful weather, and wide-open spaces that make this region so special. In 1990, we discovered Lake Thurmond (Clarks Hill Lake) and spent years camping here on weekends, building memories by the water. By 2001, we built our dream lake home, and in 2013 we made the move permanent when Karen accepted a teaching job in Evans and I retired as an operations manager in the outdoor sporting goods industry. Today, I bring more than 30 years of local knowledge and a true passion for lake life to my real estate career. Living and playing on the water has given me firsthand experience in what makes this area -- especially Savannah Lakes Village and the greater McCormick, SC and Lincolnton, GA communities -- such a wonderful place to call home.
