ZillowVERIFIEDI highly recommend Tim Lancsek. Tim represented me and my wife in the purchase of our Corolla NC beach house in 2022. We were newcomers to the OBX market but Tim skillfully guided us every step along the way. He was very responsive and available. We viewed about 20 properties together, and Tim sent us video tours of new listings when we couldn't be there in person. He gave us detailed and insightful analysis, pros and cons, for every property we evaluated. Tim is an expert when it comes to the true cost of ownership, including great insights into net income projections and various hidden costs (check out the detail on his evaluation sheets!) He took great care to understand our needs, and as a result, we ended up with our perfect beach home investment property. Tim is extremely knowledgeable of the entire real estate market in OBX. He knows all the OBX players, including rental management companies, contractors, financing representatives, legal representatives. He guided us away from pitfalls, and provided us with solid recommendations based on his vast local experience. Tim went above the call of duty, even after the deal was closed. He is easily the hardest-working real estate professional I've ever worked with. You cannot go wrong with Tim Lancsek!

We were unsure of all the details of buying a home in the Outer Banks and he made everything flawless. He has even been there for us post-sale with suggestions and contacts. During the process he walked us through every portion of the home inspection, saving us money as we billed back the seller for several items that were found. He is honest and candid and not salesy. He could have sold us another home, but told us to hold off to find what we wanted. We are thinking of buying another home in OBX and will use Tim again and again.

He was the best realtor I had ever encountered. We ended up getting out-bid on that property (because Tim always gets top dollar:) but we immediately retained him to help us on the buy side. He was just incredible. Worked his tail off and incredibly honest helping us avoid a lot of suboptimal properties. When we finally found the ideal property, he pulled out all of the stops to make sure we were ahead of the pack and in the best position to win at a fair price. Tim is our go-to for anything in OBX (has helped us in countless ways since and is always there for us). I could not recommend Tim more highly. I have worked with some great realtors but Tim is simply the best.
