This was huge! aEURc Experience in the industry: Tom has been in the industry nearly 3 decades. His success is no accident! aEURc A thorough knowledge of the current market in our area: Tom provided extremely valuable information that helped shape our listing. aEURc A solid understanding of structural elements (plumbing, electrical, etc.): Its a good thing Tom knows these things because we really needed it in our case! aEURc Willing (and able) to have our back: Tom led the charge the whole way! aEURc Knows how to appropriately work with the other side (the give and take of negotiation): Toms 28 years became very evident here. He would walk us through what he felt we should do, while still being open to our thoughts. Inevitably we went with his views....thankfully! aEURc Authentic care and patience with our thoughts and opinions: Somehow Tom made our quirky idiosyncrasies seem normal. I could never do it! aEURc Energy to handle matters that may be out of the typical scope: Tom dealt with aEURoemultipleaEUR? walk throughs from the eventual buyer, was the liaison to the city inspector, cleaned up where needed, and had an overall aEURoeI'm on itaEUR? attitude. Amazing! aEURc Great listener: I dont think Tom is officially a psychologist, but he somehow knew when it was time to simply listen to our crazy opinions. aEURc Contacts to refer when services are needed: Tom had contacts for an estate planner, house stager, carpet cleaner, furniture remover, and multiple tradesmen. aEURc Being responsible, trustworthy, and respectful at all times: I live 1700 miles from the house we listed. The house sold well (and quickly) because Tom exuded all of these characteristics. Although having all 12 seemed somewhat unrealistic, Tom Makinney nailed each and every one! If you are in the need of an agent, review this list and know this what youd get with Tom. 5 Stars!
