Thomas Elrod is one of the few true Charlotte natives who went to McClintock Jr. H.S., East Mecklenburg H.S. and graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1999. He was one of the original ball boys for the Carolina Panthers from 1996-1998.
