She is native of Colleton County, lived in Smoaks for 25 years and currently lives in Walterboro with her husband John Cole. She graduated from Walterboro High School in 1995, then graduated from the University of SC in Columbia in 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Adminstration.

She began working for a real estate firm in 1997 and found her calling in the industry. Terri went on to become a Licensed R.E. Agent in 2000 then a Broker in 2004, specializing in Residental, Land, and Commerical Properties. She is one of the top selling brokers in Colleton County!
