Teressa Holtzclaw

Teressa's family has deep roots in White County. Her grandparents settled here in the 1920's and her family continued to call Helen "home" until the late 1950's. Teressa spent her early years in the Northwest Georgia Mountains, but her childhood summers found her on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, on her grandparent's farm near downtown Helen. Today she resides on a portion of that family farm with her husband Bill. Helen has been "home" again since 1980. It was always her goal to raise her family in Helen and she says, "I got back as soon as I could."

Bill was born in Jacksonville, FL and lived all over the Southeast before landing in Rome, GA, where he and Teressa first met. Bill has a love of music, being a musician at heart and a love of antique cars. He worked for several years in property management and later as a Service Manager for several large car dealerships. Bill loves meeting new folks from all walks of life.

Teressa and her husband Bill have been partners in the real estate business since 2002. They enjoy working together and find that their skills compliment each other in helping their customers find the perfect properties. Teressa and Bill have two sons, one granddaughter, lots of cats, dogs and horses.

Teressa has been a licensed real estate agent since 1984 and seriously entered the real estate profession in 1998. Her previous work experience in property development, E911 Mapping and as a Real Estate Acquisition Specialist for the state further developed her skills as a competent Real Estate Sales Associate. She is an honor graduate from Piedmont College with a BA in Business Management and has been a state registered real estate appraiser. In 2003 she earned her Broker's License.

Bill has been licensed since 2002 and has a background in property management, and automotive service management.
