One transaction that really stands out was a luxury listing in the gated Sorrento community of Highland Lakes. The seller had already moved into her new home, so I managed the entire prep process on her behalf. I coordinated directly with the painter and home stager to choose a color palette and staging plan that would highlight the lifestyle of the home not just the square footage. I worked with my videographer to capture stunning photography and a lifestyle video that showcased not just the home, but the gated golf course community it’s part of. I actually started on the regulatory side, as a student intern with the Ohio Division of Real Estate in Licensing and Investigations. I went on to attend The Ohio State University planning to go pre-med, but while working part-time at a real estate office, one of the agents there encouraged me to consider getting licensed. He told me I had a natural connection with clients and thought I’d do well in real estate. At the time, I wasn’t sure, it felt like a sales-driven business, and I didn’t have a hard-sell personality. But I gave it a try with my own relationship-based approach, and it just clicked. I’ve built my career on honest guidance, strong communication, and zero-pressure support. I didn’t have a background in marketing when I started, but I’ve learned a lot over the years.
