    About Ted Whyte

Ted grew up in Springfield, Idaho (west of Blackfoot) where he was raised on a farm with 6 siblings. He learned a strong work ethic from his parents and knows the benefits of dedication and putting in an honest days work! He came to Rexburg and opened up Gringo's Mexican Restaurant in 1986. He met Nancy, his Realtor, while looking for places to rent and places for his restaurant. They were married in 1988! Ted quickly became Dad to Nancy's three daughters and has been a model father to them and their two children they had together. In 1991 Ted decided to get his real estate license and join Nancy. They formed the selling team of "Spouses Selling Houses" and enjoyed working together for many years. Ted succeeded quickly, being a natural at sales and loving to work with people! His hobbies and interests are spending time with his family snow skiing, doing water sports, scuba diving, traveling, dirt biking, riding his Harley, playing yard games and watching sports and activities of his children and grandchildren. Ted and Nancy have five children, Leslie (Blayne) McArthur, Stacie, Rozalynne (Adam) Hertel, Alei and Dillon. They have 18 grandchildren. Ted has consistently achieved Centurion status, Double Centurion, and Grand Centurion, the highest level in the Century 21 System. Ted has served on many local committees and on Planning and Zoning for the city of Rexburg. He was the President of the Upper valley Association of Realtors for 2014, and Realtor of the Year for 2014 as well. He currently enjoys serving his church on the BYUIdaho campus. Ted will work very hard for you as a client or customer! Give him a call today!
