About Taryn:
Aside from real estate, Taryn is an accomplished public speaker on business networking, referral marketing and social media marketing. She's a true social media pioneer, having been immersed in social media + internet marketing since 1990.
In 2000, I received a B.S. in Public Relations from the Boston University School of Communications. Upon graduation, I worked w/ the United Way of Asheville, NC to increase donations at a time when they were experiencing a significant drop in funding. During my tenure, donations from my company base tripled as a result of my efforts. I later moved to Atlanta + served as a legislative assistant at the GA State Assembly in the State Senate for 2 terms.
I joined Lenox Chem-Dry in 2002 and using my non-traditional marketing methods, we quadrupled our market share in 18 months. I built a client database of approx. 4,000 clients prior to sale in 2008. We also received the Consumer's Choice Award in Atlanta for 5 consecutive years.
In March of 2007, I established Women Intelligently Networking (WIN), a business women's organization that supports the success of professional entrepreneurial women through events, luncheons, keynote speakers + professional development + business skills workshops. WIN! has gained regional + national attention and continues to thrive with both offline and online events.
