Always make sure you start with an idea of what you need in a home and start out with a good idea of what you realistically can afford. Even if that means waiting some time until the house you want is one you can afford and that you never settle.

Always try to make your property as appealing to a buyer as it can be. If repairs are needed, even if it means taking a little longer to list, do the repairs to get top dollar for your home.
