I was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland and grew up loving horses, which became my life-long passion. I attended college in Roanoke, Virginia at Hollins University. After graduating with a B.A. in Economics, I made the big move to New York City to work on the trading floor of The New York Stock Exchange. My first career on Wall Street, was an intense and fast paced environment, giving me the foundation to excel in real estate with strong negotiation skills and excellent customer service, all while maintaining a high energy. My second career (and second passion) in real estate began in 2007 when my husband and I began our search for a home in Westfield, New Jersey. Working as a Realtor in the extremely competitive market of North Central New Jersey for 8 years gave me valuable skills and marketing experiences that now benefit my clients here in North Carolina. Wanting to move closer to family we landed in Pittsboro where my husband and dog, Archie, call home. Having gone through the relocation process with my family and my horse, I am uniquely able to assist others and can draw on my own personal experiences in assisting clients from all over the country. I called Tanya, desperate, after my house being on the market for 5 months with another realtor, with very few showings and not one offer. I was desperate to get my house sold fast. Tanya came in as a solid real estate professional with proven solutions. She made recommendations and had the house staged by a professional staging company, which made a big difference, she ordered for new photos and a virtual walk-thru to be completed and the results were amazing. We were immediately busy with showings and 11 days after listing with her, I got an offer for an acceptable amount and we went to closing 30 days later. Tanya was there to help, advise and support me through the entire process. She was amazing and made me it feel easy and seamless and I got the results I was looking for.
