Hi I'm Tammy Cline. I've called Southwest Florida home since 1990, long enough to know where the best beaches are, how to dodge the snowbirds during season, and which neighborhoods are about to be THE Next Big Thing! I'm a REALTOR(R) with the designations to prove I'm serious about my professional (GRI, AHWD, CLHMS - I know it, looks like alphabet soup, but it means I know my stuff!!) Make no mistake, I don't spend all my time taking classes (even though they are helpful and they give you free cookies!) I actually spend a lot of my time negotiating contracts, showing properties, coordinating inspections, and the 1000 other tasks a great REALTOR does for their customers. When I'm not doing real estate stuff, I'm out living the Great Florida Life with my partner/husband of almost 30 years, Shawn. We're empty nesters now, so we're out rediscovering the area beyond soccer fields and school functions... It also means that I can now channel all that pent up "mom energy" and use it to help people find the perfect home. I love people, I'm fun, and yes, I'll crack a joke here and there, but when it's time to negotiate, I bring my A-game. I've worked with first-time home buyers, snowbirds (part time residents), I've worked with investors and 1031 exchanges, I have worked probate home sales (when the owner passes away, and the heirs sell), luxury clients, and many other scenarios. Some are positive circumstances and some are sad circumstances. No matter what the circumstance, real estate is almost always the largest investment or sale of your life, and I always have my clients' best interests has my number one priority.
Lately, I have been working with more and more first home buyers. I love working with first-time home buyers because I got a lot of satisfaction out of educating my new buyers along the way and mapping out possible pitfalls along the way before they happen so I can better prepare the client. By the time we are finished with their transaction, they feel like Real Estate pros!!! It's a great feeling to convert someone from the world of renting to the world of building their wealth!!
It's funny, I feel like real estate is in my blood. My grandfather, my father, and some of my uncles worked in commercial property management. As a little girl, instead of playing teacher, I played REALTOR with my friends. I entered the world of property management many years ago and decided it was just not where I wanted to be, so I took a long hiatus from Real Estate and helped my husband build his business, but I couldn't stay out forever, and I re-entered the real estate business in 2017!
In real estate there are thousands of opportunities to grow your knowledge and spread your wings. Currently I am working on obtaining my broker's license. I have several different designations that have been very advantageous in past transactions. I think what has helped me most is when I helped my husband grow his business. I really learned the ins and outs of being a good business person and doing what you say and saying what you do. I learned how important it was to answer phone calls, listen to your clients, think before you speak and many other important lessons along the way.
