1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Get pre-approved with a lender. Knowing your buying power will help guide your search and you'll be ready for the right house. The good ones can go quickly in low inventory markets.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
When you decide to sell, it's important to shift your thinking from this is my home to this is a house – a financial asset. A good Realtor will help you maximize your property's value prior to going on the market.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I work with both residential and investment clients from all over the country.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I was able to sell a luxury home within two days of being on the market and for above the asking price. The sellers were thrilled because they didn't think it would sell for their appraisal amount. Other listings in the neighborhood had been sitting.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
For as long as I can remember, I spent almost every Sunday visiting open houses for fun. Several years ago, I finally decided to give real estate a go.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I've got 25 years of professional marketing experience and I'm a bit of a technology geek. In addition to my luxury home marketing certification, I'm also staging certified. All this is extremely beneficial to my seller clients. Buyers benefit from my resourcefulness and thoroughness. That comes from my journalism background.
