Steven Zhao

Steven Zhao is a fighter and a survivor. He came to the U.S as a (broke) college student studying marketing in University of Arkansas and was caught in the post 2008 job market. Steven has made the city of brotherly love his home when making the decision after graduation to drive 1,400 miles from Arkansas to Philly in a beat up car. He had since worked in a variety of professions to support himself before finding his true passion in real estate.

With over a decade of experience in real estate sales and having closed more than $80 million in transaction volumes representing both buyers and sellers, Steven's track record covers both residential and commercial properties, business transactions, and 1031 exchange. He is good at negotiation and structuring deals. Steven is a true problem solver and enjoys helping his clients navigate through complex transaction structures and unexpected situations. His decade-long real estate experience as well as his personal experience as a first-generation immigrant come in handy when faced with challenges.

Steven enjoys working closely with his clients to find them the perfect property, be it their dream home, a business venue, or achieving their investment goal. In addition to working with retail clients, Steven has also represented a wide variety of investors in the purchases and sales of a whole spectrum of property types ranging from smaller multi-family properties to multi-million dollar warehouses, banks, pharmacies, quick service restaurants, retail shopping centers, apartment complexes, and land acquisitions.

Steven is deeply connected to the Philadelphia Chinese community, with a broad network of business owners, entrepreneurs, developers, contractors, lenders, etc.

Steven lives in the lovely Dickinson Row neighborhood in South Philadelphia with his wife, who is supportive of his career with her own experience in finance and has helped put together this bio. In his spare time, Steven likes to stay at home and play computer games while his wife has to drag him outside for outdoor activities.
