Steve and Ashley Nilsen deal in real estate transactions across Eastern North Carolina from the Virginia Border to the South Carolina Border. Steve and Ashley are experts in all areas of real estate transactions working with first time home buyers, foreclosures, short-sales, investors, and home sellers. Steve and Ashley understand first hand that the home buying and selling process can be a stressful one, but it is their goal to make it as simple as possible by guiding their clients each step of the way with their expertise, contacts, and strong negotiating skills. Steve and Ashley Nilsen's in-depth understanding of the Greenville Area market is an asset to all their clients. With his background in sales and marketing, Steve utilizes his knowledge of both traditional and digital marketing to maximize exposure for sellers and to provide clear and comprehensive information to buyers. With her background as a licensed therapist, Ashley leverages the negotiating and people skills she obtained as a therapist to help her clients find the home that is right for them and get them the best possible deal. Steve holds a Bachelor's Degree in History as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences and a Masters in Business Administration. Steve has been in both sales and management roles at startups and Fortune 100 companies but decided to make the transition to Real Estate in 2018 after successful investments in income producing properties and found that he would enjoy putting his management and negotiating skills to work as a Real Estate Agent. Originally from Wilmington North Carolina, Ashley has lived in Greenville since 1999 when she began attending East Carolina University. While at East Carolina University, Ashley was on the ECU Dance Team and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology as well as a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. After working as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for 13 years, Ashley made the jump into real estate.
