My father passed second, and with a terminal disease, he left me explicit instructions as the executor of the estate, how to handle the family affairs. My father was meticulous with his paperwork and organization; however, despite the unbelievable preparedness, items came up which were unknown to my father, let alone me who hadn't lived in the home in over 20 years. The home was 34 years old and certainly needed some attention, but things popped up unexpectedly like the need for mold remediation, multiple inspections from the township over an addition built 21 years ago, incorrect surveys of the land that listed a 50 ft easement in addition to the normal negotiations with other realtors, lawyers and the like. I live in the Boston area so managing this from 279 miles away was challenging to say the least. Steve was not only there every step of the way, he went out of his way on multiple occasions to meet mold remediators and inspectors at the home to provide access to those who needed it in my absence. Steve made himself available to answer every question, strategize new selling approaches, open houses, discuss offers and replies. There wasn't a phone call that he did not answer or an email he did not reply to in less than 3 hours.Aside from his unbelievable work ethic.. his professionalism, experience and knowledge of the real estate industry makes him a true expert in his field. I was extremely impressed with the way he handled the numerous hurdles that came up, always calm, never a panic, never an issue, never a complaint, always a problem solver's approach to getting it done. And got it done we did. Additionally, Steve became a friend through the process. We found ourselves cracking a few jokes to lighten the mood many times, talked about our families and the impact selling this house was having on mine. At the end of the day, Steve has a big heart. He knew I'd much rather have my parents still here than selling their home. But with the situation as it was, he was very sensitive to my indecisiveness at times and helpful in working through it, because he knew I was trying my best to do right by my family and my parents.I can't say enough good things about Steve Krug. I am overwhelmingly happy with the service he provided. You should do yourself the favor and hire Steve, whether you are purchasing or selling a home. I am sure you will finish your experience as unbelievably satisfied as I am
