Growing up, I spent many summer vacations and winter weekends with my parents and siblings in Tahoe, always yearning to come back for more time in these mountains and crystal clear waters of Lake Tahoe. I was lucky enough to spend my full first winter in Tahoe in 1993, moving here full time in 1995 after graduating CU Boulder, and have called North Lake Tahoe and Truckee home ever since. After 5 years in the hospitality industry, I moved into Property Management, managing multiple Homeowner Associations - ranging from small condominium complexes to large luxury home communities. Learning the benefits and hindrances of various types of properties, Property Management proved to be an excellent jumping point for me to transition into Real Estate full time in 2005. I use my foundation in property management and customer service to provide clients with an experience driven by a strong work ethic, attention to detail, personal service and results. Having lived in various locations on the North and West Shores of Lake Tahoe, my husband Jeff and our two daughters now reside in the Ponderosa Palisades neighborhood in Truckee. We are a typical Tahoe family, spending winters skiing at Palisades Tahoe or in the back country, summers on the lake and hiking or backpacking in the mountains. Long weekends are spent camping at local music festivals with other families whenever we can. My Real Estate Business is much more than just buying and selling homes. Many of my clients are second home owners who can't be here as much as they would like to. I act as their eyes and ears, a trusted local resource, someone who they can count on for help and advice. When I had the chance to join the team at Carr Long Real Estate, I saw it as an opportunity to enhance my abilities to help my clients, both in terms of greater marketing outreach and collaborative team of trusted local resources to draw on.
