From the first conversation, she discussed things like taxable vs assessable value, impact of location choice on tax rates, costs that could be structured into the loan if I didnt have cash up front, fees I could expect to incur (home inspector, appraisal). She gave direction or referrals for questions outside her expertise. We spent several months looking. I am a single, working class person on a modest budget, and I had certain requirements in terms of accessibility and layout. She remained enthusiastic, helpful and dedicated the whole time. Not only was Stephanie the epitome of a professional, she was crazy patient with me. She understood how significant the home was to me and did a wonderful job moving me through the process in a comfortable manner. She was very respectful of the property and my attachment to it. One buyer backed out and had to put the home back on the market. She had offers within 24 hours and a purchase agreement in hand quicker than I imagined. We had to be out of town for the day of the closing. She set everything up well in advance and the closing went on without a flaw. Stephanie obviously knows the local market and is very well respected by fellow realtors. I cant say enough good things about how she took us through the process.
