Community Involvement
I have had the privilege of serving on several boards and committees within my community, each one allowing me to play a small part in something much bigger than myself. Giving back isn't something I do occasionally. It's part of who I am. I believe we all have a responsibility to use our time, energy, and influence to make life better for others. My heart is especially drawn to the foster care system and the children and families navigating incredibly difficult circumstances. These children deserve stability, encouragement, and to know that their future can still be bright. Supporting them, advocating for them, and being a voice when they don't have one is something I care about deeply. I believe that when we invest in children, we invest in the future, and every act of support, no matter how small, has the power to change the trajectory of a life.
HOBBIES/INTEREST
Outside of my work and family life, I come alive near the water. There's something about being on the water that settles my spirit and sharpens my vision at the same time. Whether it's early morning light dancing across the surface or a sunset that feels like it was painted just for that moment, the water reminds me why I love where I live and why I'm so passionate about the lifestyle here. Community matters deeply to me. I believe success means very little if you're not lifting others along the way. I love supporting local businesses, cheering on friends' dreams, and showing up where it counts. Volunteering at my local food bank keeps me grounded and grateful. Serving families in a practical way is a quiet reminder that kindness is powerful and dignity matters. One of the most special parts of my life is marching in parades with the Bionic Babes, spreading hope and strength to others who are walking through cancer journeys. Those moments are electric and tender all at once. We dance, we smile, we wave, and behind every costume is a story of courage. Being part of something that turns pain into purpose is a gift. And then there's art. Art has always been woven into who I am. It's how I see the world. I'm drawn to texture, color, beauty, and spaces that feel soulful. Creativity fuels me. Whether it's supporting local artists, designing beautiful marketing, or simply appreciating a well-curated space, art reminds me that life is meant to be both meaningful and beautiful.
FAMILY
I have three incredible kids and a husband who mean everything to me. Our home is full of life with two dogs, two cats, and my mom, who lives with us part of the year. It's busy, loud, and beautiful in all the ways that matter most. My kids are growing up faster than I ever imagined, and while part of me wishes I could slow time down, I feel so grateful to watch them step into who they're becoming. I love being there for them, helping them set goals, guiding them, and giving them the tools and confidence they need to create lives they're proud of. Being their mom isn't just something I do. It's the most important role I will ever have.
