About Stacey Buchanan

Second Generation Broker-Owner Stacey represents the first-hand experience, next-gen ingenuity and textbook education that is driving the future of Melbourne's oldest real estate brokerage. In addition to having had the opportunity to absorb the history of the area from generations past, Stacey is a Native Floridian. Stacey joined MRI at age 12, doing various tasks for her mother, Donna Buchanan, Melbourne Realty's long-time Broker. In 1992, Stacey obtained her sales license, continuing to work alongside her highly respected Mom. Those early years of experience provided her with first-hand knowledge of how to do business; ethically and with immense integrity. Over the years, Stacey led the office in sales year-after-year as a Multi-Million Dollar Producer, going on to obtain her Broker's license in 1999. Stacey obtained her Master's Degree in 2013. In 2017, Stacey was named Melbourne Realty's Broker-Owner, after the sudden passing of her Mother. As the Broker, she remains extremely involved in generating new real estate sales and rentals throughout the Central Florida area. Throughout the last three decades working in Brevard & Indian River County real estate, Stacey has acquired valuable knowledge of the market, directly witnessed several transformations and developed enormously useful instincts. Her instincts have proven indispensable, especially for Sellers, whom are able to benefit from her strong background in marketing. Stacey continues to maintain an average time on the market of just 11 days on her listings and is very proud of that industry leading number. Stacey grew up near Florida Tech and still lives in Melbourne, near Downtown. Her Dad, Bill Buchanan, is an Army vet and retired from Harris Corporation after more than 35 years. The Buchanan family's roots run deep in South Brevard and they are proud to continue to call it home. Stacey is a very proud Mom of one human baby and several rescued fur babies. She enjoys going to the beach, going out on her SeaDoos, spending time with family & friends and coaching her Daughter's sports teams.

Avid FSU Football and Orlando City Soccer Fan. I love swimming, the beach, enjoying the amazing Space Coast lifestyle and riding my jet skis.

FAMILY

I am happily married to a Melbourne native named Andy. He is a local X-Ray Tech and together we have 4 grown children (3 sons and a daughter) and 6 fur babies including a 180 pound English Mastiff puppy named Bean. I love my family and am so lucky to also live with my Dad who is 88 years young. My Mom, a 40+ year Broker, passed in 2017. We miss her so much.
