I'm a proud mom of two amazing kids -- Violet, who is 15 and a student at Mankato West High School, and Julian, who's a freshman at Bethany Lutheran College right here in Mankato. Sonja was fantastic. She was up and beyond helping! Although the building fell through, I absolutely am keeping her as my realtor. I was always received on the phone and I feel she never blew me off and I always got immediate answers! Shes also optimistic even when things arent looking so great. I dont have a lot of money and she never treated me like she was wasting her time. Rarely do you find smart, kind, unselfish people. 5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I grew up in Mankato, where my father renovated homes — so I learned early on how meaningful homeownership can be and how thoughtful improvements add value over time. My very first job was handing him shingles as he re-roofed a Mankato home, and from that moment, I was hooked on the process of transforming spaces and creating long-term equity.
Before becoming a full-time Realtor, I earned a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato and spent years working in college recruitment and retention — guiding students through some of life’s biggest questions: “What do you want your future to look like?”
