Shawnee Boeddeker

Shawnee grew up in North Oaks, a suburb of St. Paul, MN. After HS, she lived and worked in the Caribbean for a year before returning to study Broadcast Journalism at Brown College. Since then she has worked as an international Flight Attendant; a Corporate Market Developer for a large cable TV company; and a business owner, negotiating sales and product purchases with clients in Mexico and China. Shawnee fell in love with the Alexandria area in 2012, at first commuting to visit friends, and finally moving to the area in 2018. She now blends her experience in business negotiation and her love of the local community into her new passion--real estate. She helped 31 families purchase and sell their homes in her first year alone and she can help you too. In her spare time Shawnee enjoys spending time with her husband, Craig; organic gardening; cooking whole foods plant-based gourmet cuisine (yes, vegan), and finding new areas to hike with her chihuahua, Egon. Each year she and Craig travel (when permitted) to a new Caribbean island to discover the area and embark on their love of snorkeling.
