We moved from another state to Minnesota to be closer to family in Rochester. No one here had a suggestion for a realtor, so I did several Google searches and Shawn Buryska kept coming up at the top of the results. We reached out and Shawn responded right away. We had a long, detailed discussion on the phone about the process, with his recommendations for the best approach. We're moved in now, and the sale of our home in another state and the purchase in Rochester went exactly as Shawn first explained to us. We gave Shawn a list of our preferences, and Shawn regularly emailed us with relevant listings. We made several house-hunting trips and Shawn arranged for multiple houses for us to look at. He pointed out the good and bad of those houses, especially with potential code violations. We also went to several open houses, and the realtors there had great respect for Shawn when we mentioned that we were working with him. When we selected a house to bid on, Shawn made good suggestions regarding the bid, dealt effectively with the selling realtor, and helped bring the transaction to a conclusion. He quickly arranged for an inspection with a knowledgeable inspector and went through the house at the final walk-through testing all of the house's systems to make sure they were functioning properly. Throughout the process, Shawn responded quickly, gave us good advice, was highly knowledgeable about real estate in the area, and was a pleasure to work with. We would not hesitate to work with Shawn on any future transaction and highly recommend him as a real estate agent.
