About Shawn Brown

I have always had a passion for real-estate. I do believe I inherited it from my mother. I remember when I was young, going to open houses with her because she loved getting ideas and seeing other peoples visions of what they thought a home should look like. That's what I find so intriguing about the Real-Estate industry. Within a certain degree of the law, people are free to dream, create, build, and buy what they want to call home. And all of these homes need owners. You need a real estate professional that will listen to you, understands the industry, and is staying ahead of the game. I am constantly thinking of ways to use the latest technology, social media, and tools to ensure my clients are the most informed buyers, and the most well represented sellers in the area. I pride myself on my negotiating skills. You will get the absolute best price in buying a home, and if selling you will keep as much equity and wealth as possible. I have a long history in construction. I helped my parents build their first home at 8 years old, and I helped them build their last home a few years ago. Out of school, I jumped into a career of building. I love to get my hands dirty and put in a good hard days work. I have 16 years of structural construction in my past. I have been heavily involved in "flipping houses" (as HGTV has made the term so popular) over the past 6 years. Being financially tied to Real-Estate keeps me Current on Actual Property Values. I can't say enough about Kristi! She was amazing with helping myself and fiance purchase our first home! We didn't know all of the ins and outs of buying a house but Kristi was there every step of the way no matter how silly our questions were.
