Community Involvement
Giving back to the community has always been close to my heart. For over 14 years, I've been honored to partner with Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna, serving both as a mentor and working hands-on with their homebuilding projects. Faith also plays a central role in my life--I've had the joy of leading worship in our church for more than 20 years. I currently serve on the boards of several local foundations and, in 2024, I launched my own nonprofit, the Guardian Hearts Foundation, with a mission to support and honor our veterans. Being able to serve others, both locally and beyond, is one of the most meaningful parts of my journey.
HOBBIES/INTEREST
When I'm not working or spending time with family, I love getting outdoors and staying active. Hiking and biking are two of my favorite ways to recharge and enjoy nature. I also have a creative side and enjoy scrapbooking, preserving memories one page at a time. For something a little more adventurous, I've found a real passion for clay shooting--it keeps me focused and sharp while having a lot of fun.
FAMILY
Family is the heart of everything I do. I've been happily married for 35 years, and together we've raised a beautiful family of six children. Our family has continued to grow and bless us with 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, each one bringing their own light and laughter into our lives. As part of the sandwich generation, we're also honored to care for our aging parents--something we consider both a responsibility and a privilege. Family isn't just important to us--it's our foundation, our joy, and the reason behind so much of the love and dedication we bring to every area of our lives.
