Our experience with Samantha was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. From the beginning, communication was pooraEUR"she often took days to respond, and we had to include her in group messages to get any answers. To make matters worse, she initially listed our home at a price that we felt was unusually high, which puzzled us, especially given our specific timeline. With a planned move out of state for the military, we started this process in May, knowing we needed the house sold by October, yet she showed no sense of urgency. When it came time to list, she didnt even hire a professional photographer, resulting in subpar photos that received negative feedback from friends, family, and even our lender. After asking her to redo the photos, she agreed but still only used her cell phone, and the quality was still lacking. Our lender declined to share the listing on her business page, saying it just didnt look good enough to showcase. Initially, we thought we might not fully understand the process, but as our frustrations grew, even our lender and the buying agent for our new home were surprised at her lack of proactive effort. It felt like every piece of information and action had to be prompted by us, and ultimately, we lost confidence in her ability to sell our home. After more than 60 days on the market with zero offers and no clear strategy in place, we realized we needed to make a change. We had worked with her two years prior to buy our home when we moved here for the military, and that experience went smoothly, so we naturally turned to her again when we received orders to move out of state. Unfortunately, this time felt completely differentaEUR"it was as if we were an afterthought, and she either didnt care or wasnt equipped or knowledgeable enough to handle the sale. In the end, we decided to terminate her as our listing agent, and hiring a new realtor made all the difference, and ended up being the best choice in our whole selling process. Our new agent was proactive, supportive, and instilled confidence in us throughout the process. If youre looking for a realtor, I urge you to do thorough research before choosing. We would not recommend her for selling a home based on our experience.
