I have met with potential buyers years before they were ready to purchase. It never hurts to gather information.
When it comes to selling, everyone and their brother will become a real estate expert the second you decide to voice your plans. Don't get caught up in what other folks think your home is worth. Selling a home, like any type of market, relies on supply and demand economics - what a buyer is willing to pay for your house, and what you are willing to sell it for. Meet with a professional early on to determine what that could look like. Pricing your home incorrectly is the number one reason why a home doesn't sell.
I have worked with a variety of different clientele. These range from first time home buyers and sellers, investment properties, land, new construction, multi-unit properties, vacation homes, and so forth. I specialize in working with out-of-state transactions that often rely on virtual tours, and most often work with first time home buyers, and luxury second/resort home purchases.
In May of 2023, I closed on a property with some folks I had been working with upwards of about two years. They were first time and first generation home buyers, who weren't in the best financial position to purchase a home. We worked together on and off and although the wait was long, we won a multiple offer contract in April and it was so rewarding to see the joy on my buyer's faces as we had finally reached their goal of purchasing a home.
I first started in real estate back in late summer of 2020 shortly after the covid-19 pandemic began. I was working in food service prior to that, bartending and managing a local restaurant. I had always considered working in real estate, and I saw my opportunity when I was shut out from work for three months. I took out a loan to start my business, and here I am three years later loving every minute.
I have obtained certifications and specializations as an Accredited Buyer's Representative, a Pricing Strategy Advisor, as well as education on being a Resort and Second Home Property Specialist. I have taken numerous classes and trainings on various topics and practices within the field of real estate, and I am currently gearing up to take my Broker's exam.
