I think Ryan could have been more proactive in selling my house. I also feel that he maybe didn't have the experience I expected to find in a real estate person. It wasn't until I prodded that he agreed to have an open house. After he changed lock boxes and my garage opener didn't fit, it was up to me to have the house available for access. Since I was living there I didn't mind so much it just seemed that the onus was placed on me rather than him taking the initiative. I also felt he was more interested in the administration side rather than the sales side. These were my impressions. I explained clearly the first time we met that I was no expert on home sales and was looking to him for guidance. I also was clear that I wanted $375K "in my pocket" at the end. This did not happen. He later stated that he didn't hear me make that statement. My over all impression is that he is a very nice person who needs more experience "selling" homes rather than waiting for them to sell.
