In late 2019, and into early 2020, I was preparing to retire, working to finish the last couple of months of work in Chicago and commuting to Traverse City as often as possible to search for a new home. I wasn?t sure what I was looking for or how much I wanted to invest in the property. My searching hadnt turned up anything I was interested in, but when I found Jenni and Ryan things began to turn around. Jenni listened, really listened, to me when I told her what I was thinking, and she began to identify properties that might be of interest. Throughout my numerous one-day in and out trips to Traverse City she always made herself available to tour new and interesting properties; and did a great job of checking out properties I had seen on-line and passed along to her. Shortly before retirement day came along, Jenni and my sister-in-law, as my proxy, called and announced they?d found just the right place. I took them at their word, said yes, and a couple of days later we were signing paperwork for a condo near downtown Traverse City (we were signing the day before the country shut down in the face of the pandemic). I can?t thank Jenni, Ryan and their team enough for putting up with my crazy schedule and timeline, my somewhat quirky ideas, my indecision and, of course, the whole pandemic thing which had us all in a state of chaos. They are totally professional, well-organized, helpful and patient. If, and when, it ever comes time to move again, they?ll certainly be the first to know!
