That's my specialty! Purchasing a home is a HUGE step in life, it's a very nebulous idea, with many not knowing where to start. Asking their motivation for owning, whether they've considered the entire gamut whether its buying, renting, leasing, etc. are all important first questions.
The market, as it sits, is flooded with buyers with very few sellers by comparison. There is no reason a home doesn't sell in this market.
I have worked with Investors, first-time buyers ranging from ages 18 to 63, sellers of all walks of life and any person within a 75 mile radius.
When bidding on a foreclosed property, a client asked me to bid them down by counter-offering our offer with one lower than what we had originally offered. To our surprise, the offer was accepted. I was a rockstar for a day!
I had attended SUNY Oneonta, studying for a degree in business economics. I had read a few books about real estate and decided that once I left, I would pursue a career in real estate. I left my last final, got in the packed car, and drove straight to my first real estate class. I found a passion in my career and I have not ever looked back.
