Geiger supported us every step of the way in the process of finding our home. Despite a very challenging market, he maintained a calm and supportive demeanor, provided wise counsel on a broad range of real estate topics, and never balked even when besieged by dozens if not hundreds of questions along the way. I lost count of the number of times I texted him "stupid question, but...", and I'm sure to someone with this much experience, all my questions were naive, but he always treated any question, no matter how basic or esoteric, with the same respect and courtesy. He seemed perpetually available, and sacrificed time on his weekend to help us with an impulsive showing when time was of the essence. We'd had less than stellar experiences with realtors in the past, so this time around, we found a dozen well-recommended realtors from social media, evaluated them and interviewed a half-dozen. While there were many outstanding-seeming options, Geiger was unique in his ability to tell us frank information about the market and our options and how we should approach things--counsel that wasn't rosy and optimistic, but that we definitely needed to hear. That impressed us right from the first conversation, and with every subsequent interaction along the process of six months, he backed up that impression. If he doesn't know, he will tell you. If he can only guess, he will, but it's a super-educated guess. If he knows, he'll tell you, but with context and substance so you can easily understand the answer and place it in the context of where the market is right now. Add to this a good sense of humor, a positive outlook, and a deep and clear knowledge of both the Main Line and the real estate industry in general, and you have exactly what we needed as an ally in this often-frustrating process. Cannot recommend Geiger enough. I don't necessarily look forward to the next time we move, but if and when that happens, I can only hope he is still working in the industry so we can work with him again.
