My wife and I were initially nervous about purchasing our first home, but thanks to Robert's help, it couldn't have been a simpler, quicker, or more pleasant experience. He worked with us to find the perfect downtown condo, and assisted us in placing the offer, knowing how much to put in to both come in under list price, but also secure it right then and there to avoid a bid war. Both he and his assistant Courtney were constantly working, ensuring that within six weeks we were closed on our beautiful new home. In addition, he went above and beyond with customer service, even coming in on the weekend to allow us to show our out of town parents the unit before closing, just so they could see it. Robert Weichelt is by far the best agent I've ever worked with.I interviewed 6 real estate agents. Robert provides an attention to detail and level of service that isn't found elsewhere.I'm not somebody who buys and sells property with any regularity. I needed somebody who can manage the process for me and give me high quality service. When selling my home Robert did a very thorough, detailed inspection and gave me a list of recommendations of both things to do and things that were not worth doing (i.e., would not help sell or increase the selling price). Once my home was listed Robert found a buyer right away, $10,000 more than my list price and a 14 day escrow.When buying I gave Robert a list of criteria of things we were looking for. Robert made a list of homes that we reviewed and regularly updated the list with new findings. While browsing Zillow one day I found one that I liked and sent it to Robert and that's the home we ended up buying. Shortly after we viewed the property the first time the seller set a "make me move" price $35,000 higher than it had been previously listed for and wanted to increase the price $10,000 above the price listed on Zillow. Robert was a fantastic negotiator for us. He stuck to it for us and we came out at the price we wanted with a 21 day escrow.At every step of the way, both buying and selling, Robert was there for me to execute every detail according to my instructions. I told him what I wanted in the beginning, then just sat back and watched him work. He kept me regularly up to date with the progress of every detail by phone, text or email.
