Robert Wands

Licensed Real Estate Salesperson (8 years experience) Robert Wands grew up learning about the real estate business from his mother, a top producing agent on Long Island for Douglas Elliman. She made it her goal to teach him and his brother, Christopher, the skillset and knowledge necessary to succeed as a real estate agent, from an early age. Christopher followed in his mother's footsteps, becoming an agent for Douglas Elliman in Miami and was the recipient of Douglas Elliman's prestigious Rookie of The Year Award for 2016. The success of his mother and brother has been a driving force for Robert who started in Long Island after obtaining his real estate license and now is based in Manhattan. Originally from Port Washington, New York, Robert currently resides in Midtown East and specializes in the Lower East Side, Turtle Bay, Chelsea, West Village and Flatiron areas of Manhattan. A graduate of Hobart College, he majored in History and International Relations with a focus on International Trade. Prior to earning his real estate license, Robert worked for two years in the sales department at a tech startup. During his time in the tech world, he worked directly with an application development team and served as a liaison between the software developers and the clients. In addition to real estate, Robert started his own software development company where he further hones his skills in sales, marketing, and team management.
