FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Start by getting clear on your budget and getting pre-approved—it makes a huge difference when you’re ready to make an offer. From there, my biggest piece of advice is to stay focused on your priorities. It's easy to get swept up in all the homes out there, but knowing what matters most (location, layout, schools, commute, etc.) will help you make a confident decision. Also, trust the process and lean on your agent—that's what we're here for. I help my buyers see the bigger picture, spot red flags, and move quickly when the right home pops up. Patience is key, but so is preparation.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
First impressions matter, so start by making your home as clean, bright, and welcoming as possible. You don’t need a full renovation—sometimes a little decluttering, a fresh coat of paint, and great photos go a long way. Pricing is also huge. I always tell sellers: the market sets the value, not emotion. You want to be strategic—not just listed, but positioned to sell. And lastly, be flexible. The smoother and easier you make it for buyers to see and love your home, the better your results.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I’ve worked with a wide range of clients—first-time buyers trying to navigate the process, growing families needing more space, downsizers looking for less maintenance, and investors searching for the right deal. Each client is different, and I tailor my approach based on their goals, timeline, and experience level. Whether someone’s buying their very first home or selling their third, I make sure they feel informed, supported, and confident every step of the way.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
One that stands out was helping a young couple buy their first home after months of searching. They’d lost out on a few offers and were feeling pretty discouraged. We stayed patient, adjusted our strategy, and when the right home hit the market, we moved fast and wrote a smart, clean offer. It was accepted that night. Seeing the look on their faces when they got the keys—that’s the part that never gets old. It reminded me why I do this. It wasn’t just a house to them—it was the start of their next chapter.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I’ve always had a love for real estate—even as a kid, I was the one dragging my parents to open houses just to walk through and check out the layout or the finishes. That interest never really went away. When my wife and I were buying our first home, we met an incredible agent at an open house who not only helped us find the right place but also saw something in me. She actually encouraged me to get my license. I took the leap, and I’ve never looked back. It combined everything I enjoy—homes, people, problem-solving—and turned it into a career I’m truly passionate about.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Honestly, my biggest asset is experience. I’ve handled well over 1,000 transactions, and in real estate, every single one teaches you something new. I got into the business during the real estate crash of the Great Recession, and that shaped how I work today. Back then, you had to get creative—nothing came easy, and every deal took serious problem-solving. We weren’t just order takers; we had to figure things out to get deals closed. That kind of hands-on, pressure-tested experience is something you can’t teach—and it makes a huge difference for my clients now.

The entire buying process with Rob and the team at Three Avenues was a breeze. Rob did an amazing job negotiating a great deal. Throughout the entire process he was very communicative, and went above and beyond - especially when the closing day was moved up. The entire team sprang into action to make it happen on time.
