I worked with Bob on buying a house but in the end my offer was not excepted. But nonetheless, I had a wonderful experience with Bob, he is always extreme responsive and knowledgeable. I never felt left alone and I got everything I needed to know right upfront, so there were no surprises. I had an absolutely terrible experience with this real estate broker. I reached out to him on February 18th about an upstate property, three hours from my home. We scheduled a viewing for Saturday, February 22nd, around 1:00 PM. He even asked me to not post the appointment on Zillow! I let him know I would call on my way up to provide a more accurate ETA, and he reassured me that even if he wasn't there, I could enter the property since it was abandoned. I made it clear I would feel more comfortable with him present. The day of the appointment, I left early in the morning, drove three hours, and called him three times, leaving voicemails each time. He never answered and never showed up. After viewing the property myself, I texted him, and he responded that he didnt know who I was. When he finally called, he casually mentioned, "Oh yeah, I have an accepted offer and contract on that property." I was furious aEUR" I had wasted an entire day, six hours of driving, and money on gas for a property that was no longer available. Didn't even offer any other property listings! When I expressed my frustration, he hung up on me, claiming he didn't want to talk to someone using that language. To make matters worse, a week later, the property was still listed as available. His manager of the entire Catskill region reached out to apologize, but no further action was taken. This broker was unprofessional, misleading, and completely disrespectful of my time and effort. I plan to report this incident to the Department of State Licensing Division. I strongly advise against working with this individual or trusting their listings aEUR" you might end up wasting your day, your money, and your trust. Stay FAR AWAY!
