Ric Hernandez is a California-licensed REALTOR(R) (DRE #00971812), executive real estate coach, and senior brokerage leader with nearly four decades of experience guiding high-performance sales organizations throughout Southern California. Since entering the industry in 1986, Ric has overseen and led teams responsible for more than $11.2 billion in residential real estate sales across 9,856 closed transactions, with annual production ranging from 600 to 800 transactions under his leadership. His expertise is deeply rooted in luxury real estate, where rising average price points-from approximately $600,000 earlier in his career to over $1.8 million today-reflect long-term market mastery rather than short-term cycles.

Ric currently serves as a senior leader with Coldwell Banker Realty, where he has spent more than 11 years in executive roles including President, Executive Vice President, Regional Vice President, Branch Manager, and Branch Leader. His leadership background also includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Greater Southern California Building Industry Association.

As founder of the Ric Knows the Coast coaching brand, Ric specializes in executive leadership development, agent coaching, luxury real estate strategy, and recruiting and retention systems. He is nationally recognized for talent acquisition, earning a #2 national recruiting ranking with Keller Williams International after recruiting 125 agents in 12 months, along with a Black Belt award for performance excellence.
