ZillowVERIFIEDMy experience started off great. She was attentive we got along and we understood eachother. She gave great advice on neighborhoods.After the contract was ratified, it got to where I had to repeatedly ask the same questions b/c she just wouldnt get answers. I understand things happen but it seemed like things were ALWAYS happening. This was my first home buying process so there were lots of questions about the process.about this and that and she seemed to start getting annoyed because I wanted to know how things worked. If I'm committing to 30 years i need answers. Or when things about the house mattered to me that didnt matter to her she seemed to get agitated that I kept bringing it up. I read EVERYTHING!!!!!! when the lenders needed more time to do whatever they were doing with the loan (at this time they still said it was going to close) it went beyond the original closing date. I asked Rebecca repeatedly did she need to update the contract but she blew me off. The contract specified that it needed an amendment or an addendum. she did not comply . As a result of this.... her negligence resulted in me forfeited my earnest money.Also when issues arose with the lender, I would ask Rebecca was it normal because she referred the lender to me. I frequently would vent to her about things I did not get answers on because this is my first time.She urged me to call their supervisor and corporate but I told her that that would be loan suicide. I needed to wait until everything is complete then worry about that. Right now I just wanted it closed. Later that day , I was upset with her b/c she guaranteed me an incorrect closing date two days prior. I had asked her to confirm as she assured me that she did. My family does not live here so everyone made arrangements to be here on closing day. My brother is in the military, they gave him leave because he stays here but then I find out that she never confirmed with the attorney. She told me the attorney cant close that day. I was livid. How can you guarantee me a date if you didnt talk to an attorney. She knew my family had to travel. that that was unacceptable. Since she was in her feelings now that I told her off, she proceeds to email the lender telling them i requested their supervisors info b/c I was going to report them to the BBB. Liar. I never said that. I said I wanted to WAIT TIL everything was over. She was petty and unprofessional and tried to sabotage my loan. I had to have a side bar conversation with the lender. I told him that I wasnt happy buying t I'm enough adult to ask them myself if I wanted that info. What she did was childish,petty,and very unprofessional. I didnt request that info.The lenders were good sports and continued to deal with me in a professional manner.But long story short .. i didnt understand and kept asking questions which held things up but ultimately I'm glad I did.i had a lender credit that increased my rates that I wasnt aware of that I didnt need. And it couldnt be removed.The lender also made sure my loan denial letter was written in a manner to warrant receipt of earnest money but Rebecca made sure that she botched that part so I couldnt claim it. Do not trust this woman.I called the sellers personally and apologized for everything. Told them what Rebecca did and what happened with the loan and they agreed to give me a portion of my earnest money just to be nice.She should have been forced to pay both of us but you know how that works. The person that screws everyone walks away Scott free while the seller and myself are short..I was told Rebecca would get commission if I continued with the purchase of that property so I said screw that!! I think I ultimately won by getting out of this bad deal ????
