One recent transaction I’m especially proud of involved helping a couple relocate to Hillsborough. They were living out of the area, and with a return-to-office mandate from their jobs, they had a firm timeline to make a move. They were focused on Hillsborough, but inventory at the entry-level price point was limited.
We looked on and off for a while, but took a short break when the right home didn’t surface. When they were ready to re-engage, we revisited a home they had seen earlier—it had since had a price reduction and had been sitting on the market for several months. We moved quickly, submitted an offer under asking, and secured the property.
It was a great example of how timing, strategy, and staying close to the market can pay off. They ended up with a beautiful, move-in-ready home in Hillsborough that met their needs and came at a great value.
Real estate has always been part of my life—I grew up with a mother in the business, so I was exposed to the industry from an early age. I spent over 20 years in title insurance, where I not only managed transactions but also trained agents and became a go-to marketing resource for many top-producing Realtors in San Francisco.
That experience gave me a deep understanding of contracts, escrow, and how to effectively position properties for maximum exposure. Eventually, I decided to bring that knowledge to the sales side and joined my family’s real estate team at Sotheby’s International Realty. Beyond my real estate license, I have extensive hands-on training from over 20 years in the title and escrow industry, where I worked closely with contracts, disclosures, and closing processes. I also led agent training sessions and built marketing strategies for top-performing Realtors, which sharpened my skills in both negotiation and strategic positioning.
