Get a "verified" pre-approved by a reputable lender before submitting any offers. In a Sellers market such as we have now, prepare to be flexible on the negotiating points that you can, i.e. length of escrow, etc.

Always interview at least 3 agents. Never sign a long listing agreement and beware of trick clauses. Pricing is everything, too high and it sits and gets "market age", too low and you risk leaving $ on the table. I have a great strategy to sell for top dollar in any market.
