About Phyllis Turpen
Choosing a place to live is so exciting and requires many decisions. Where will I work? Where do my kids go to school? Where will I shop? Where are medical resources? Do I like the neighborhood? Can I afford to live there? Wow! A lot. Our living space affects all areas of our life. As a realtor, I make the process "All About You" giving lots of informations. I have a background in education and counseling so these skills and experiences are so helpful when working with buyers and sellers.
Recently, I joined Exit Realty Diversified because I wanted to have the support of a large company with the atmosphere of a small community. This company embraces all of this plus ongoing education in keeping abreast current trends and technology in the real estate world.
Originally, I am from Kentucky and attended University of Kentucky and Xavier University where I received a Master's Degree in Education Counseling. Before going into real estate, I worked in public schools. I have two grown children, one grandson and two granddogs. My son was in the US Marine Corp. This experience has given me a deeper understanding and appreciation of Veterans and their families. He went on to graduate from MTSU and my daughter graduated from Belmont University. Sometimes I share stories of taking care of my grandson and my grand dogs. My family and I have come to love Nashville as it is such a fun and vibrant city to live, work and play.
